These data and code are associated with the publication Rissanen et al. (2021) "Snow information is required in subcontinental scale predictions of mountain plant distributions" published in Global Ecology and Biogeography (doi 10.1111/geb.13315). The species data consist of 475 811 presence observations of 671 vascular plant species from the arctic-alpine area of Fennoscandia collected from national databases of Finland, Sweden and Norway, GBIF and field surveys by the authors´ research groups. The environmental data contain seven spatially continuous predictor variables in a raster stack used to model species distributions. Provided R code was used to perform species distribution modelling. The data and analyses are described in the linked publication. The data should be sited properly.
